This is a fantastic interview conducted by my friend and GXM Podcast co-host, Thomas Quillfeldt, with the BAFTA-winning composer Jessica Curry.
Jessica drops by to talk about her haunting new album with the London Voices, Shielding Songs, comprising 13 choral works from across her career including several from video games (out 13th June 2025.)
Jess is co-founder of video game developer The Chinese Room and is also a BAFTA-winning composer who has scored seminal games including Dear Esther and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. Her music has been performed around the world in high-profile venues including during the first — and so far only — video game Prom. She’s been a radio presenter for video game music shows on Classic FM and Radio 3.
I hope you find this interview as interesting as I did!
